Not sure what to say


I had something to talk about, but apparently I forgot.  I have the brain of a goose, I swear.

In the interim, if you have a few moments to spare and feel up to it, please take some time to visit this blog.  It’s written by a mother of three whose youngest daughter, Layla, was diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma (a form of cancer).  She’s not quite two and fighting a losing battle.  The family could really use some prayers and good thoughts, because it’s unlikely that Layla will be with them much longer.  It’s very moving, very very sad reading, so be prepared if you do visit.

I know that this is the sort of thing that people like to fake, but this one strikes me as legitimate from the digging I’ve done.  They recently posted family photos on the blog, and they’re also posted on the photographer’s website.  The story
