Once-a-Month Cooking: The Aftermath


Holy jeebus grits, the cooking is (mostly) done, and I am ready for another weekend to make up for the one I didn’t get.  Unfortunately, I also got sick, so I’m getting a weekend of sorts, just not the kind where you sit around eating bonbons and drinking champagne.  😛

 

Final tally of goods:

  • 5 individual servings of spaghetti sauce
  • 3 family-sized servings of spaghetti sauce
  • 9 servings of pancakes (plain, banana, and chocolate chip)
  • 5 individual servings of Cincinnati-style chili
  • 1 family-sized serving of Cincinnati-style chili
  • 1 family-sized serving of crock pot orange chicken (which should yield nice leftovers)
  • 1 family-sized serving of crock pot BBQ chicken (which should yield serious leftovers)
  • 2 pot roasts with vegetables
  • 2 bags of diced ham for soup beans
  • 6 individual servings of stir-fry vegetables
  • 2 1/2 meatloafs (two 2-lb loafs and one smaller loaf of indeterminable weight)
